About scripts

You need to have Perl installed on your computer to run these Perl scripts (except for PubMed-P). The scripts on this page were tested using Active Perl 5.8.8 on Windows XP sp2.

All scripts (except for PubMed-P) may work on Mac and Linux.

PubMed-P

Calc-P

You have many PDF files ramdomly named and are having hard time finding the one you want? PubMed-P will save your time in organizing PDF files!

* PunMed-P acquires information of scientific papers (authors, title, abstract etc.) from PubMed when your PDF file is drag-dopped on its window. A batch function is also available.

* The information of registered papers (author, journal, abstract, your comment etc.) will appear on the PubMed-P window and you can access to PDF file, PubMed, and associated files just by clicking a button.

* You can add your comments and links to local files related to registered papers.

* Information of registered files can be exported to EndNote with links to PubMed and your PDF files.

Calc-P is not just a simple calculator but comes with various functions such as statistically analyzing data, calculating special functions, and displaying graphs.

Special functions:
Beta, Gamma, Bessel, Lambert W, Legendre, Hermite, Laguerre

Statistics:
• Mean, SD, CV, F test
• Paired/unpaired t tests, Mann-Whitney U test, Wilcoxson's signed test
• Pearson's correlation, Spearman's correlation
